This is the place where the majority of the warbird (aircraft that have survived military service) discussions will take place. Specialized forums may be added in the new future

What this forum needs is a morris dancing thread, complete with a few photos. I wonder if the WIXers are ready for SteveP waving his hankey?

So what is Anna doing with her time now without FlyPast?? I wonder if the forum is down due to the smilie limit being exceeded, or the supply being exhusted??

Geoff.

Geoff, no forum is ever ready for a morris dancing thread. Morris dancing threads are an act of forum terrorism visited upon fine upstanding members of the online community like Patty.

Anna's going to have to find another forum to haunt for a few days.

Heh, at least until I change the autofilter to automatically change it to Richard :)

Welcome to all the Flypast refugees. I'm sure the sysops of FP will get thier forum up and running soon. From personal experience I know it can be a pain in the genital area to run these forums. I wish the well.

Until that, come on in, (Setter, take your shoes of, theres no telling what sort of jungle crud is growing on them), I had the Guiness tap installed so lets have so great discussions. :drinkers:

Hi Scott (great name!)

Thank you for extending such a warm welcome to Flypast refugees, of which I am one. You've got a nice place here.

Not sure about the Guiness though? I'll just nip down to the shops and pick up a nice bottle of Malt then we'll be sorted for a great night in here.

Greetings from Scotland (great country!) 8)

Hi John , I got your number from Robbo and I think I got through once , I tried again and couldn't get through - I assumed you had headed home . Sorry I missed you , next time we'll organise a welcome party - usually involves a load of Highland Park and Belhaven Best - it's a drag but somebody's got to do it .

Hey it's quite nice over here , did somebody mention there was some other Forum down ?? , is that a bad thing ??

Heh, I would have stocked some but being American I did not want to presume to know the finer Scotches so its BYOS (bring your own scotch) :)

Hi all
firstly I resent that last statement as I was trying to help you by saving you further expense.

It's nice here innit? We'll soon change that--property prices are falling already.
If you want proof of the harm a bunch of refugee Brits can do abroad, think Orlando or Benidorm.

Where's Crazymainer?

Cheers

Gee whillikers! It's getting pretty crowded in here. Hey, ageorge, pass the Highland Park ( a very respectable little tipple). I've brought a bottle of Auchentoshan along, it's a very pleasant lowland malt and the cooling water used in it's making is collected from a WW2 bomb crater!

Andy - I'm sure I saw a post somewhere saying that Crazymainer wasn't feeling well...........could be wrong though. Maybe someone else knows better.

Hmm , quality , when we've a$$ed these two I have a decent bottle of Dalwhinnie waiting to get cracked . I think Auchentoshan is the ONLY lowland malt , and darn fine too .
Anybody who mentions Chivas Regal will be shot on sight - a tourist whisky - never drunk in Scotland .
