Cool! The world needs more round engine mechanics. Sometimes I wish I had persued an A&P when I had the opportunity 25 years ago.

What B-17 are you working on in that pic?

Congrats!

My only question is what this is doing in the Off-Topic area?

well i didnt think it seemed fit to be in the hangar with the warbird stuff since i only have a pic of the 1820(just to show i actually work on them).... its just about me going into A&P school not a warbird. but if the powers see fit they can move it around where ever they please. and thanks!

Good Luck.

What A&P school are you going to?
I went to ECAT (Now Wyotech) in Ma. many moons ago.

Good luck!

I spent 2 days with my mechanic hanging a jug on my O2. I learned much about how the engines work and saved $$$$$doing most of the work myself. I should log all that time if I ever get my A+P.

Keep working!

That's great !!!! Learn well (I have a habit of having things break when I visit Chuckie's hangar....LOL  )

I really wish I had logged all the time I have spent wrenching under an IA in last 15 or so years.....he would have been willing to sign me off for the written in the past if I had logged.....not sure you can still do it that way anymore.

i thought that black bird looked firmilar ive seen it at the hangar before. always did kinda like the o2. just looks cool looks like ill be taking extra classes next year now as well so i can get my avionics taken care of as well. i kinda wished i had logged my time as well. ive been off and on working on chuckie since '97(all i get are maintenace flights for the blood ive spilt  ). i hope i can do some good with the warbirds after im out.

Haven't visited as much this year as in past couple of years but I'll be up at least once in Sept and once in Oct (BroncoFest)....and I am telling the pretty bird not to break  ...but maybe I'll see ya then.
