What's the deal?

My father is soon to be going west. He's on his last legs (87 years young) he had a great run. God bless him. Ex Hellcat driver. ... I just came back to Calif from Michigan. He has a swift in a hanger in Michigan. Sitting for over two years. Excellent condition and painted in RAF markings. Should be restored to original paint.

I have acquired this aircraft and am looking to sell it. Just seeing if anyone has an interest.

PM me if interested.

Mark

Sorry to hear of your dad. My thanks for his service.

Stock Swift is a fine aircraft indeed, but I'm half-heartedly looking at Super Swifts.

You should check at the Globe Temco Swift webpage here:

Hellcat....my thoughts and prayers are with your father and your family.

Swift was one of the first taildraggers I was privileged to fly.....for a little bit...and it is a great plane...good luck on finding a new home for yours.

Mark,

My friend Denis Arbeau in Sonoma runs the Globe/Temco Swift Website and would be a good place to list your plane. Sorry to hear about your dads status.

Contact Denis at his website: http://www.napanet.net/~arbeau/swift/

I have a GC-1B in the hanger, mostly stock with a O-300.
Its the only GA aircraft I ever wanted.
