As for nice things about a T-28; I am thinking guys, I really am, it has only been two days. Something will come to me. As for Reno, does anybody have race speeds for the winner of the 28 class? And how does it contrast with winning T-6 speeds which I think are around 228 or so?

If memory serves it was in the 300 area.

If I remember correctly, a T-28C at 65% power has the same speed and fuel burn as a P-51 at 65 % power !

One thing that's good about the T-28 is that at 6' 4" tall, It's one of the few warbirds that I can fit in comfortably.
Besides, years ago Coke Stuart invited me to become an "Upright Brother"! My given name as an Upright brother is , "Gen. Lee Upright, Trojan Driver"!!! :lol:

I do miss Coke a lot.

No Trojan Horseman, but I was a stripper in Reno as well.
