Warbird Depot December Desktop Calendars

The December 2007 Desktop Calendars are now available from the Warbird Depot website; http://www.warbirddepot.com/desktop_calendars.asp

This month includes:

* Tom Woods's N.A. P-51D Mustang "HI-G", being flown by Frank Strickler with Jim Carlson in the back seat, enroute to Shelbyville Municipal Airport from Mt. Comfort, IN.
* Dr. Harold Cannon's award winning Aero Vodochody L-39ZA Albatros on the ramp at Gadsden, AL, after the annual was performed by International Jets.
* A rare formation taken at the 2006 Tennessee Museum of Aviation's Warbird Gathering in Sevierville, TN. It includes Nathan Davis's N.A. P-51D Mustang "Checkertail", being flown by Mark Watt with F-15 pilot Randy "Hacker" Haskin in the back seat, Neal Melton in his Republic P-47D "Hun Hunter XVI" and Chris Johnson in his Grumman TBM-3E Avenger.
* Doug Matthews taking off in his Korean War combat veteran Vought F4U-4B Corsair at EAA AirVenture 2007.
* Terry Cunningham's beautiful DeHavilland Canada DHC-2 Turbo Beaver at the dock in Princess Louisa Inlet, B.C., with Chatterbox Falls visible in the background.
* Bill Greenwood taking off in his Supermarine Spitfire Mk.IXc (dual cockpit) at EAA AirVenture 2007.
* F-22A Raptor 05-0085 from 27 FS 1 FW ACC FF Langley AFB, VA flying past the control tower at Toronto's LBPIA enroute to its demonstration flight at the 2007 Canadian National Exhibition Airshow.
* Lone Star Flight Museum's Republic P-47D-40RA Thunderbolt "Tarheel Hal", being flown by Tom Gregory, at the 2004 CAF FINA Airshow in Midland, Texas.
* U.S.A.F. Thunderbirds General Dynamics F-16C "Fighting Falcon" diamond formation flypast at the 2006 Reno National Championship Air Races in Reno, NV.
* The Imperial War Museum's Boeing B-17G Flying Fortress "Mary Alice" parked on the ramp with their Boeing B-29A Superfortress "It's Hawg Wild" at Duxford, UK.
* My Travel A330-200 landing on runway 33L at Toronto's LBPIA.
* Cavanaugh Flight Museum's Douglas C-47 Skytrain "Mr. C It's Tuesday" landing at EAA AirVenture 2006.
