Wow -- with the open gun bay doors, missing right prop, and airframe partially awash I would expect that the initial salvage work done on 41-7677 in Wales looked very much the same (except the guys were probably a little more chilly wading around in the Irish Sea).

Would it be possible for me to pass this photo along to the members of the Welsh P-38 recovery working group?
