This is the place where the majority of the warbird (aircraft that have survived military service) discussions will take place. Specialized forums may be added in the new future

I truly hope the War bird world has more good news then bad news in 2005. 2004 was a horrible and a great year. I hope 2005 is only a great year.
who are you kidding Tim, if there's even one corsair there you'll be like a kid with ADD

I get the feeling if someone offered you an airworthy Corsair in exchange for Kelly you'd be hard pressed to answer for a few minutes

I can afford to feed Kelly & myself, not a chance on feed feeding a hungry R-2800

Heh, too bad Purina doesn't make Corsair Chow

Yep ... both Boomerangs would be sensational. I know that ASDU have lashed out this year and have requested one of just about everything for Avalon. I have no doubt that both the Denning and Zuccoli Boomerangs were on the list.
I, personally, am itching to see the Hudson down here again. I don't know for sure that it's coming, but being the only flying Hudson in the world, it's such a significant beast. Any WWII routine worth its salt would have to include it.

Hey!
2005 looks really good for airshows in New England, Westfield is a great spot for an airshow, Quonset is always good, and the fact that the Col. will have a show at home in Sept. is awesome!
Show us all Brunswick has to offer Rob! Sept. 10/11 (Blue Angels)
Shannon and I will most likely be staying in No. Conway that weekend so it will be a short trip over to the show.
We plan on attending a few more Volkswagen Shows with the Bug (it only attended one last summer)
Some other small aviation events around New England and...
Shannon and I will be putting together a "POKER RUN" for our Warbird Squadron! (EAA Warbird Sq. 7) This ought to be fun since we are both "non-pilots" and are going to need some interesting stops and a good place to finish.
Happy HO HO to everybody!

Scott,
If Purina made Corsair Chow...You would have to purchase it by the
dump-truck load...there is no way around the R2800 "hunger-lust"!!!!
2005...wow....to heal and get in the air again...that's all I want. Until that
time you yayhoos are stuck with me...but I really enjoy the environment
and company!!!! "Mores the pity Jim 'awkins,..mores the pity!"
Best to all of you and better days in the following year!

2005 already?
1.) Well since I didn't get my air show pictures put away from 2003 during 2004, I'm going to try to accomplish it in 2005.
2.) Am hoping to make it back east to the Thunder Over MI show again, and hook up with some of the Wixer's there, that I've missed during the last two shows.
3.) Start a flight log of all the planes and pilots I've had the pleasure to fly with, and future flights.
4.) Try to improve the NCC AAHS website

My hope is to get our B-25 out of the Evergreen Museum and back in the air where she belongs!
