Hi all,
This might seem like an oddball poll. But I am just curious as to see what SLR cameras are the most popular on WIX. I am not familiar with all SLR cameras so if one is not an option I am very sorry.
So here is the poll. If you got any particular camera then just pick the one you have. If its not on the list then I guess you will have to pick "other". Again sorry if I missed any SLR's. Alos if you would like to share what you have in more detail please do so. It would be greatful to ya.

I have the Canon 20D.

I am very happy with the Canon 30D, and I am aiming at getting a 40D this year.
The Rebel XT that I had, was good for a while, but when I got the 30D, there was no comparison in the ergonomics and feel of the camera. Pictures too, come out better on the 30D!

It is an "L" series lens, which means top of the line glass. That counts for a lot. The downside of the lens is that it isn't particularly fast, but that isn't terribly important for outdoor work, since there is usually plenty of light.
Is it as good as fixed focal length "L" series lenses? No. But is an excellent lens for airshow work. The optics are good, it is totable, the wide range of focal lengths gives you a lot of options, and the Image Stabilization lets you shoot with slow shutter speeds to blur the prop disc while retaining sharpness in the rest of the image.

Canon has some dubious glass under the "L" label. You are much better off going with lenses that have a smaller focal length range.

I shoot with the 30D and 100-400L lens and get perfectly adequate results.
If I had one of the Canon prime lens (300, 400, 500 or 600L) I may get a better shot but I'd miss out on heaps due to the fixed focal length not allowing me to pull back and reframe.

Dunno about the specifics, my interest is pictures that can be used for print in magazines and books. Usually a max of A4 or occasionally a full spread; A3, (8.5" x 11" or double). Most lenses for sale today are good enough to do the job, 90% of the problems I have with dud photos submitted are to do with the photographer.
Obviously the best lens you can get is what to aim for, but also be realistic as what you are going to do with it as well. Wall size posters are unlikely for most users, but sadly much camera discussion among aviation enthusiasts is unseemly drainpipe competition. Mostly pointless.
I've got a good cover photo for a magazine off a cigarette packet size digibox of 3.3 megapixels.
Personally I mainly use that for opportunistic shots, and a Fuji S5600 sub DSLR. With a max lens length of 300mm it's a bit short for proper airshow work, and far below a proper DSLR for quality in all directions, but it's certainly adequate, cheap and light.
I'm no competition personally, but I do select some of the best shots from some of the best aviation photographers out there for print. The difference between them and the amateur is brain and having an eye, as you can get adequate pro-level equipment for not unreasonable cost.
Just my 2d.

Heres mine. Santa left it in my stocking for me in 1979. It replaced my old one that had disposable flash cubes. This was a big step up. Is there something better out there?

I use a Kodak Z612 and get perfectly usable pictures whenever I actually use it right.... 
Need to get a tripod, but have gotten several pictures published both in print newsletters and on TV, so I must get it right on occasion.
It also takes danged good video (with pretty good audio too), my only complaint is that the zoom motor is quite loud and right next to the microphone, so whenever you zoom, Kodak put in a nice feature that "quiets" the microphone to not pick up the sound of the motor, but it also causes you to need to edit video that has contant noise (like a running airplane) to make it presentable.
