I spent the day today (Friday, March 14) at the Frontiers of Flight Museum at Dallas Love Field, volunteering my time and labour for the Collings Foundation's "Wings of Freedom Tour 2008". The weather was was absolutely gorgeous, with sunny skies and an afternoon high temperature very close to 90 deg F. What a great day to play hooky from work and spend some quality time with the fine folks from the Collings Foundation and the Frontiers of Flight Museum, not to mention all of the nice people who came out to see us! Check out the shine on those propeller domes. That shine is the result of almost four hours of my labour, and them domes is lookin' mighty fine! (shameless bragging  ). After the work was all done, it was time to play... up there in the blue Texas sky, that is! Here's a selection of photos for your viewing pleasure:

P: Noise coming from under instrument panel. Sounds like a midget pounding on something with a hammer.

S: Took hammer away from midget.

My wife got the chance to climb through all three birds today. She couldn't believe "how cramped they are inside, it's not like the movies at all". She had a great time.

There was some talk today that it would if it gets all the paper work done. I would like to see it as well. Maybe Jim or someone can say more as they are in the know. I plan on dropping by tomorrow....

Sorry about posting to an older thread but this looked like a good spot.

Here's a nice photo of the original Witchcraft
