A hard question..............

This may be easy for some and hard for others, this question has some rules attached please read them before answering.
So here it is........
Purely hypothetically speaking, if you had an unlimited budget for obtaining, restoring and operating ONE warbird, what would it be
Rule #1. ONE aircraft and ONE aircraft only, forsaking all others.
Rule #2. NO and, if, but, either, or maybe, a definative personal choice please.
Rule #3. Aircraft must exist, a restoreable known wreck, flying, in a collection (i.e NASM He 219, remember unlimited budget,you could theoretically get something they want more and trade or .............whatever), in a shed, on a pole etc. etc.
Rule #4. Assume politics do not come into this. (UNESCO, US Navy or whoever)
Rule #5. NO REPLICAS
My personal choice would be the P-61 Black Widow from the USAFM.

Great question...would have to say the boeing P-12 on show at the Museum of Flight in Seattle...this is the epitome of pre war fighters...a perfect cross between a Pitts and a Stearman.
