Hello Everyone:

Anyone know how much an airworthy Starter, Alternator, and Generator for the T-6 is worth?

Thanks,

Chris

Go to one of the Jasco vendors. I don't know for sure if they make one for the 1340, but they do make one for the 300 Lycoming and it is doing good duty on board a Bamboo Bomber. I think you're looking at ~$1000 or so.

Starters are out there. Are you going 24 Volt on your system? If you are, there is more stuff for the 1340 available, and less money.

Generators- haven't messed with them yet, as the BT is a few years down the pike. But there are fewer and fewer people who work on them. And the current regulation seems to be more the problem than getting a good generator.

My generator had been sitting on my T-6 for 30 years out in the rain, etc, and I got it back from the shop today. It works perfectly after being in the weather all of these years, amazing.

I traded in my busted 24V alternator for a new skytronics one from aircraft accessories for $450, i think
