Wangarratta Kingfisher restoration photos

Thu Jan 13, 2005 12:51 am

Hi All

As part of my ongoing upload of Tony andrews photos from Wangarratta here are 33 shots of the 3 Kingfisher projects being undertaken there. You will notice a smattering of Vengance stuff mixed in because the projects are alongside each other.

Ahhhh!!...Santa Setter...still bringing the gifts!....but my Kingfishers won't
load, and the 2nd link you provided shows as an error.

It's all good...still enjoyed "wandering around" in your album! Of the
Caribou at Richmond ramp 24, I assume that is a SteppenDingo on
the tailfin of the 'bou ?

Hi John,
Thanks very much for the photos, please thank Tony Andrews from all of us here too! Incidentally, in the photos of the kingfisher, I noticed one image which showed Kingfisher wings painted in green, with Aussie roundels on them. These clearly are not from the Whaleworld aircraft, which is silver... Do you know which aircraft they are from, or are they a spare set which came with the whaleworld example? Cheers, and thanks again.

Richard

Hi richard

I don't know to tell you the truth but I suspect you are correct - I will ask and let you know.
