That does sound really neat. I can't wait to see it when it comes out.

I hope either History or Discovery buys it. With my luck, History will run the Nostradamus thing another 42 times and Discovery will bring back "Dog the Bounty Hunter".

Lets hope who ever they select to be on this show can gel like the crew on MYTHBUSTERS or DEADLIEST CATCH and not the disfunctional, lame idiots someone selected for that awful SMASH LAB-

And, for Mudge, something new, Nostradamus the bounty hunter...... :o

Wow, sounds awesome! It looks like it is going to be produced in the U.K. This one sentence was particularly interesting:

"In the pilot episode, a Virginia businessman with a collection of rare planes sends his crew to Papua New Guinea in search of a Lockheed P-38 Lightning."

Let's see....hhhmmmm.....Virginia businessman.....who could that be? Could it be Gerald Yagen? I didn't know the Fighter Factory was looking for P-38's. Since the cat is out of the proverbial bag, can anyone shed any more light on this search?

They got two or three wrecks out of the PTO. I seem to remember Jerry telling me that they were going to be rebuilt at Wangaratta. I do remember seeing photos of some of the remains there.

Cheers,
Richard

Thanks for the info, Richard! Concerning those P-38 wrecks, is Mr. Yagen going to be rebuilding more than one complete P-38, or are all of the parts going towards one flyer?

Just saw this show last night on SKY here in the UK.

Interesting stuff.

What year was it shot? I was Googling for info about P-38 wrecks in Wangaratta, but all I could find was some info from '05.
