The new Spit 18 sure turned out well Peter.

And I have to say that AR213 is absolutely beautiful. Between her and BM597 I can't quite decide which is the nicest looking Spit out there......until EN224 finds the sky of course

...and Dan, many thanks again for your side view artwork, in the early days of formalising this scheme, prior to drawing it out. A scheme totally 'wrong' to the official words of the day, but totally 'right' and within the tolerance of the period photographs of 28 Squadron in theatre.

Now if Fred can just sort out the 'power/prop glitch' we can get some fully clothed action shots, before it departs UK shores.

Having come from Australia to Flying Legends, I personally saw a several Canadians who'd flown in just for the weekend from Ontario and Quebec, a couple of other Aussies from Canberra and Victoria, visitors from Poland, France, Germany, Spain, Italy and several other European countries...

If you are serious about warbirds and you haven't been to a Legends show, you ain't really serious. Sell the kids, mortgage the wife, get the finger out and stop being wet. Come to Duxford and get wet.*

Jim houses his planes in Pennsylvania! If indeed thats his spitfire...I am gonna pee my pants in excitement cause I live in Pa too! Hmmmmm gonna have to make a trip down to see Jim. :wink:

Actually I am planning a trip to Philly to tour Easter State in September/October. Maybe I'll make a detour in the process. :twisted:

We are doing a nice little Warbird show in Millville, NJ on September 20 & 21. If Jim's Spitfire is in the U.S and flying by that time he probably will have it there flying it at the show.

Jim's will make five Spitfires within even Spitfire range of shows like Millville, Reading, Geneseo etc. Somebody at one of those venues ought to give that some thought in the next few years.

Yep, Tom will be doing the hosting for the Warbirds and the Schultz Co gang will be there for Airboss, Ground Ops and Announcing. I will probably do the Airboss duties. It looks to be a really good time!! See you at ACY!!!
