Gary, that little racer is kind of cute. Any one who helps a grounded pilot out by offering another plane to fly when yours is down either for repair or maintenace, is pretty special in my book.

No doubt about it! Gary Davis is a very generous fella, who just loves air racing and the history of these aircraft. I'm fortunate that he chose me to fly his airplane for him.

I assume you got it unzipped and then couldn't open the individual files? That's what happened on my end. If you look at the file names you will see that there are two of each named ALMOST the exact same thing. One has a . in front of it. Try to open the one without the . in front of it. That worked for me. If that doesn't work for you, let me know and I will convert them to JPG and post them here.

HMMMM i used a mac to zip em there must be some sort of cross platform format problem going on!

if you rename the files to shoestring001.pdf and shoestring003.pdf then it should work... they need to be .pdf files..

if not i'm trying to up load the unzipped pdfs right now!

sorry

Here's a couple of shots of "Time Bandit" in an earlier life.

I do love Shoestrings!
