Reno, that is. A very young pilot with a very big name (and a very fancy trainer!) debuted on the Reno race course this summer. He looked really good out there, and certainly seemed to be having a very good time...

A name similar to his dad's maybe?

Neal,

Very NICE work, looks like the little field trip to the other pylon paid off.

Yes indeed -- I'm about the only photographer who really likes Pylon 5. I don't know why...

I'm really torn about this year's races. I'd really like to see a Mustang win... it'd be neat to see the rookie win, but with Rare Bear being owned by Lewis from here in town, I'd really like to see them win. I can't believe I'm typing such heresy. Mustangs forever.

His dad is the highest time current P-38 pilot.

Neal great shots and also on aafo! Is there any way that race crew can make it out to a pylon at least once during the show? I crew on 13, 14 & 105, and would love to get to a pylon once in my life! Thanks.

But is that young man old enough to race this year? If he is, I think a few of the "old" guys are going to have to work a lot harder.

I think it would be great if a Sea Fury won this year!

From what I hear young Stevo does turn 21 in August, and so could legally race. I don't expect to see him in Strega at Reno 2008 -- Tiger says one more year for him and then they'll see.

A stocker would make more sense as a way to learn to race.

Don't forget that his Dad won the Gold in his second Reno (I think) when he was 27 or so.

My wife baby sat him and his sister before they were able to walk.
