hi all,

The plane in the video and the plane in the photo could be 2 differnet planes? I'll get the link.

Nathan your right  I got my original poster mixed up with the photos above, my bad

My bad. I didn't read the topic close enough. I just assumed (bad word) as they have been using the "P-64" a lot lately.

If it is a P-39, it doesnt look like the centex wings unless they repainted it into a older look.

I've seen them use the P-63 in the Tora act but its a little indisposed at the moment so that rules that out! :P Heck I have even seen them use Howards Bearcat to chase the Zero's in the act :!: :!: :!: How weird is that :o

Not as weird as a P-51 chasing them! I'm a P-51 fan, but that's just wrong...

They did, as the highest scoring in type in the Pacific IIRC. More or less its still the same paint scheme she wore previously minus the nose art and the new scheme is not overly accurate :(

It does appear to be a P-39 in the video which makes the choices very narrow. :)

Now, there's a surprise! I thought that all of the CAF paint jobs were highly researched and accurate, just like the Wildcat or Martlett.

I think you are refering to the Martlet scheme on their FM2 thats on the cover of WarbirdDigest #21. That is the worst scheme I've seen. It looks like a Tonka Truck.

The crowning glory to the Martlett will be the CAF Winged Logo!

A nice contrast on a black O-2 would be a CAF logo, don't you think?

MEMBERED OWNED AND FLOWN IN SUPPORT OF THE CAF..................all about 26 ft. long will look good. Has to be in pink though.

We're gonna get some serious mileage out of that sticker, aren't we! :x  :!:
