Not sure you saw the pictures of rear prop damage posted here end of May/first of June........but Byam was able to actually save the blade......it was straightened and a tiny bit shortened with other one evened up and stilll well within tolerances. I was amazed. The pictures were nasty but in person it looked worse.
All checks and flying have been going well....but can't bless it as good to go yet.

I don't know of anyone in the wing who uses any other prop shop. They just brought the prop back for the Yellow Rose and hung it on the newly overhauled left engine a couple of days ago.

Yep, I saw the pics and thought too much meat was damaged to shorten the prop. Glad to hear Byam was able
to save it. I also caught your inferance regarding the engine that babysteps were being taken.![]()
Fingers crossed..knockwood!!![]()
I've been meaning to ask you a querstion. When we had our little hurricane skeedaddle down here a
few years ago.. did you fly into LSFM(or near about), a few days before the storm hit?
Lady02, thanks and good luck!
PS
Amen to the 100 degree woes! I don't live down here for the summers and the brown Bay...it's the t-shirt
'n shorts winters with turquoise sunsets I live for!
