Neat! I visited the Fighter Factory about three weeks ago..fantastic place.

I like how the reporter in the video metions that after the plane's original belly-landing, the "copilot ejected safely."

Funny thing, I actually considered employment there. I talked to his dom but did not actually go there for a interview. Shortly thereafter we got a letter from MR Yeagan if we would either, sell our N or take on a project of his. I thought, too bad I just did not go there and get a job and I would just do it there in the shop.

It seems like just a short time ago that I saw that 25 take off from Air Acres in Woodstock, Ga. for the ferry trip to Tidewater. The Fighter Factory has done one fine peice of work on that Plane. Put some more fifty's on her and she will be the "Best Lokking" 25 out there.

Albatross N116AG is registered to Aleution Goose Adv. in Wilminton, De. didn't someone make a comment in the last few days about lots of warbirds registered in De.? Must be an aviation friendly place.

Yes someone did say that there were a lot of warbirds registered in Deleware. This one is also located in Deleware according to the guys at the paint shop. It sure does sound like an aviation friendly place.

WOW what timing, I got sent this link from Jerry this morning! I am so jealous, he sent me the pics of the airplane before it was loaded. WOW what a perfectly orig airplane!!! Anyways the news keeps rolling in. IF its done, he would like it flown out to Geneseo in July where He will pick up the keys and continue on its trip to VA!!!! So we could be at 4

Is it "from" Delaware, or is it registered to a corporation in Delaware for tax purposes? Big difference. I think about 40% of warbirds are registered in Delaware, LOL!And the other 60% in florida!

The colors are correct, the nose-art is not WW2-era.

Why should they be kept clean, they weren't in WW2?

Personally I think that Fighter Factory is doing a great job at creating a top notch museum with (mostly) authentically painted top notch aircraft. And I hope this trend only continues further. Now Id like to see them start to acquire a Zero of some sort.

Ooh and maybe a FW-190!
