Hi All,

My GF and I drove over to Lake Michigan to watch the sunset yesterday. On the way home, a detour took us past the South Haven, MI airport. There was an aircraft on the ramp I couldn't ID (couldn't get a pic in the dark.) It was in front of a floodlight, so all I could see was a sillohuette. Anyway, the plane was a high-wing taildragger, with a single radial engine (looked to be a single-row with a ring-style cowl) with twin tails, similar in shape to Lancaster verticals. It put me in mind of something French.

Any ideas?

Steve

Apparently, somebody doesn't like Mr. Sutton....

A little Googling reveals the aircraft is N18TX, owned by Robert Trowbridge. Reminds me a bit of a DHC Beaver with a Lanc empennage...

Typical French engineering, some good ideas mixed in with some real strange ones. Actually the MH will do darn near everything the Beaver can for a LOT less money...

There's something like 7 or 8 on the US registry and 5 of them are in the Western Washington area-
