P: Noise coming from under instrument panel. Sounds like a midget pounding on something with a hammer.

S: Took hammer away from midget.

Cool thing is, a person could bring it up to flying condition one day in the future if they so desired. At least that's my perception. Despite it's incompleteness, is the airframe otherwise airworthy?

Hey - I think I might've seen your car on the way in to the flight school this morning...

About the only thing that could be airworthy after some work would be the fuselage. The spar was cut and other structural components of the wing are missing in order to insure it will never fly, so Reno might be out of the question.

The spar was cut and sent out to verify the material type and heat treat it came back good so we set this spar aside until it was time to build a static. BTW its coming along quickly rockets are nearly completed gear doors have been fitted lots of small detail stuff going on, right now I am working on the Jumo castings so we can hang the engine cans this week nacelles next week and final paint. My guess is we should have it done in about three weeks time?

I would be interested to see some detail photos of one of these replicas if it's possible, I've hardly seen any shots of them and no detail shots, would be intersting to see what they're like!
cheers
