Unrestored, but VERY WELL preserved. Just ask Ryan! I believe it has been maintained in the same condition as it was when it arrived from the IAF. The only major change was that it was repainted in coastal patrol colours.

Do you want to find locations of displayed, stored or active aircraft? Then start with the The Locator.
Do you want to find or contribute to the documented history of an aircraft? If so then start with the Airframes Database.

I'd love to see Walter Soplata's B-36 restored(Flying?).

That would be quite a rebuild. It's chopped up in many pieces. I can't imagine how they'd make new longerons for that thing!

Hairy.....you maybe closer to the mark than you think, working on it coming down this way, but a long process and it won't be syndicated.

Glenn Lacey FW190D and Ju87 Stuka.

I know some of these planes may be under restoration at this point, But I haven't seen any RECENT pics or info which can prove this.

Well if I had seen this a few yrs ago, I would have posted the "Kee Bird" B-29. But I will not post my comments on that here. If you want them, e mail me off the list.

So I guess I would say for me it would be the Valiant Air Commands
F-105.......she is credited with 2 mig kills in Vietnam. I wish I lived closer to fla where I could help save her.
Then I would say, the Wright Patterson Museums, C-123 "Patches".

Finally I would add every Huey sitting at DM in storage that served in the RVN.

Good Question!!!!!!
