Hey photo lovers, I am looking for as many old Douglas C-47B photos that i can get my hands on. 51st TCW, 62TCG, 4thTCG specifically.
Anyone can help, id appreciate it.

Regarding derelict and salvage yard pictures

Like the man said. They got 1 of everything over there. As is the case of 2 World War 1 Renault FT-17 tanks that were found in an Afghan scrap yard. And have recently airlifted back to the states.

What I found really cool was the WW2 German 15cm Geshutz Auf Lorreane-Shlepper that found near Basra Iraq. One can only imagine the story of how it ended up there.

You sure that picture is an Afghan junkyard? Looks more like Austin Acres to me.

The link above it has the actual pictures of the tanks found in Afghanistan plus ones of them being airlifted on a C-17. That photo is just of an example of the type I think.

That scrap yard in Afghanistan is amazing! Where is that? What do they call it?

So...how many land mines are in that field?

I didn't realize there were two. In the first photo you can see what looks like a Renault tank loaded on an Army truck.

And HERE is another view of the junkyard that I found, showing the russian Duhk copies. The worst part is, the guy had to be standing right next to the B-29/Tu-4 to take it!
