Why doesn't POF buy one and operate it then? Maybe because they don't have the money? It has flown more recently than the POF B-17 after all (30+ years and counting).
Please at least give Yanks credit for buying it, paying to get it ferriable and putting it on public display. It will be a pleasure for me to see it sitting in their yard. It adds that much more ambiance to the Chino Airport experience.

Im sure PoF would buy one if they had the money and a place to put it.
Its still sad to see it end its flying career like that it seems like they are making the same mistake that PoF made by letting there b-17 sit around on the ground. what a shame
