Scott came by Warbird Adventures today and I took him up in the T-6. He did a great job of flying the plane and had a blast. We started with some formation flying and moved on to aerobatics. We did aileron rolls, a barrel rolls, a loop, Cuban 8, and vertical wing-overs. I tried really hard to make him puke but he was having too much fun. You should have seen the smile on his face!
We had dinner tonight at the local bar-b-que place with his dad and talked WIX and warbirds. What else?!

Congratulations Scott... I'm glad Chuck was able to give you a 'proper' introduction to the wonderful T-6! Jim

Way to go Scott, Good to hear you got a good warbird flight in. Nothing like aerobatics in a T-6 or Harvard.

Did you get a shot like this?

Thanks Chuck, It was more fun than I can possibly express. I appreciate everything.

Today I went flying with my dad on 909 and had a blast. Then we went to Valiant Air Command and I took 400 pictures between the VAC and the B-17 ride. Too much fun.

Tommorrow I goto Fantasy of Flight and EAA Museum and Lakeland. I leave Monday morning and will hopefully have some pictures up by later this week.

Talk to you all soon.

And Eric, I got to sit in the front seat of the Texan. Too much fun. :D

Chuck, It sounds like you had a fun time flying with Scott. Make sure you leave some petro in the tanks for me when you come to Illinois this summer!

Very cool, glad to hear Scott is having a great trip and got some air time in the T-6.

I was hoping I was going to be able to meet him out at Fantasy of Flight yesterday but I had other home responsibilities to take care of.
