about half the time I have to log in and then I don't get to see the new topics. Is this the way to treat contributors?

I don't know, I belong to a few other forums and to be honest WIX is probably one of the slowest. That might have to do with the fact that the audience for this site skews a bit older, and older generations don't tend to spend as much time online as the younger ones do (although the mecha forum I belong to is about the same speed as WIX is, so that might not be entirely the case).

It may be more an issue with your computer. You have things up when you log in to "remember me" when you sign in. However, if your computer keeps deleting your cookies it may require you to keep entering the username and password. Also, the next trick is to not just type in the WIX url to visit the website. I ALWAYS go to this link: http://warbirdinformationexchange.org/p ... d=newposts as that gives you all of the newest posts ANYWHERE on the message board.

stoney, you might try deleting your cache and coockies and all that. Sometimes they get FUBARED and all you can do is start over.
