That is the nose section of Avro Arrow 206 at the Canada Aviation Museum in Ottawa.

Hi Andrew,

I took the pictures at last years "The Bay of Quinte Aeromodellers RC Fan Jet Rally". This years rally is June 11-12th and the alternate date is June 18-19th.

I have heard about Rally before but I have always managed to miss it..this year hopefully I will attend as it is great opertunity to visit the storage at Mountainview... :D

Why do we say things like "the Arrow was the greatest fighter ever built"? The Poms still rave about the TSR-2 like that. Frankly both machines never made it for whatever reasons. Greatness comes from deeds.....

I think of the so-called cancelled or limited editions as interesting technology testers. Hard to see the Arrow eclipsing aircraft as a fighter in "greatness terms" like the F-86,F-4,F-18.F-16 etc etc. Even the Tornado went to war...
