Just got to wondering how many current Spitfire rated pilots there are worldwide and I figured this would be the place to try to put together a list.

Bill Greenwood
Rich Volker
Mike Potter
Rob Edos
John Romain
Alan Walker
Steve Hinton
Peter Spence
Jerry Yagen

Okay, it is up to you folks to add to this list. I know I have just scratched the surface.

Jeff :D

Woodson and Chris Woods, Kermit. Lee L, I think, Tiger. Steve H. Bob Hoover. Rudy Frasca. Elliot Cross. Tim Leslie. Rayborn Thompson. Jay Cullum. Aubry Hair, the last two are combat vets, not of WWII, but of the north Texas potato gun wars.

At least 3 I can think of besides SH at POF that aren't on the list so far. Not sure they'd want their names mentioned though.

I don't know if Peter is "rated" , but he has dual cross country time and hands on the job wash time in Spits. And he can certainly hold up his end in a toast to the "Few" in the pub.

I'm not 100% sure, but wasn't Tom Duffy flying his Spit last winter before it needed some mechanical attention?
