F8F Reno looks like the one Monogram used for the 1/72 scale P-51/F8F air race model set.

Jack it would appear to be Tom Matthews "Tonopah Queen" race 10 flown by Walt Olrich. Bu 121752.
Now N800H.

It's based at Paine field with John Sessions.
Which also makes it John Herilhy's old "Sweat Pea".

Sure looks like N7827C, 121752. Here are a couple of shots from my collection. 3/4 rear shot at Reno 1965, other shot at Reno 1966.

Yes, it now belongs to John, but is still at Pacific Fighters undergoing a rebuild. No more vinyl and chrome cockpit
Reading the log books for this old girl was a real education; I think anyone that once owned or flew a Bearcat had been in the cockpit at least once.
