You may want to check with Courtesy Aircraft, they have an F7F-3, FG-1D, and a F4U-7 listed for sale.

There was a Tigercat project for sale on barnstormers a few months ago. It said it was stored after it had an engine fire in the late forties. It was in California. You can see if you can get Walter Soplata to part with his FG1, it looks like that would be a great project.

There is a Corsair for sale by Courtesy that is owned by a gentleman from up here that is named Alberta Blue, not sure what the mark is but it would be fairly easy to find. I think his asking is $950,000 usd. The owner was recently at our museum (www.albertaaviationmuseum.com) to help with the ferry of a Harvard that has recently gone on the market.

Hope this helps

Sincerely Gerry
