Well, Hendon is a piece of cake to do by train. RAFM Hendon is a 10 minute walk from Colindale underground station which is on the Northern Line - (that's the black one on a London tube map), so if you are staying in London, Hendon is easily accessible.

Duxford is accessible by a bus service (C7) from Cambridge station and trains to Cambridge run from either Liverpool St Station or Kings Cross Station in London, so again easily accessible. Probably need to allow an hour to hour and a half+ for the journey to Duxford by public transport each way.

Hi other museums with warbirds you can do in London is the Imperial War Museum and the Science Museum, if you drop me a pm I can give you details of how to get to them and advise on other good places to visit here in London

G'day Tony,
That's very kind of you, but I'd already mentioned it on Rauhbatz's other thread asking the question here:
http://warbirdinformationexchange.org/p ... hp?t=27630 and I gave a link to the museums' websites there, which I think cover the options pretty well? If you'd like to add anything, please do to the other thread.

Cheers!

Rob, Tony...thanks for the tips
