Well, look at it this way - she started out relatively poor, but she got her money, added to it, and kept it, unlike a lot of celebrities - I'd listen to her financial advisor before I'd listen to Ed McMahon's (although I'm grateful for his wartime service to our country - Oprah didn't join the Marines, although it might be fun to imagine her as a drill sergeant

).
Ouch! - hey, my man card is smoldering...

A person of the female persuasion who makes lots of money on daytime television here, talking about nothing but getting paid a lot. I've heard she can talk you into buying anything that you don't need. She is the most influential female of this or the last century. Females swoon whenever she is around and do stuff even goofy females normally don't do.
I have never watched or listened to her as I do not want my MAN card revoked (are you listening Tom?). I have heard these things through the grapevine so as to "know thine enemy".

[JohnWayne]We don't think that's how you really know all that, son. Hand over your card and stop crying.[/JohnWayne]
BTW- Mrs JDK's response to Martha fans is a quote. "Life's to f*&$% short to stuff a snowpea."
