Chuck, O.P.

What is up with this or the SNJ?

Maybe you guys are hard at work and don't have time to update the web page!

I hope all is well.

Steve

Steve,
Sorry for the lack of pictures. Dont really have time to keep updating the website. Would be nice if I had someone who wanted to keep it updated or even build me a new one(or 2 or ??)!

I have been working on the SNJ-5C all day, every day. Will run the engine in March. Will be ready to fly in early July.

As for the Corsair, its on standby, TBD.

Last I heard, OP left California, just as it was getting exciting around here. OP you out there?, WIX calling OP, WIX calling OP, come in OP !!!

Chuck

Chuck, if O.P. shows up, ask him to drop Canso42 a line as well. He left in the middle of an interesting conversation we were having on a non aviation topic that sprung from that thread a while back about what other interests WIXers have.

I wondered what became of that Corsair after it left town. There sure were a bunch of people that tried to buy it over the years. My father and his partner took a shot at it in 1980 but wound up with one of the Honduran -5NL projects instead. Great news that the Cupples Corsair finally getting some attention. It sure would be nice to find the wings and tail parts sitting in the back corner of a local scrapyard.

Hi all!

I'm here. We just moved to Austin Tx, and we just got all of the boxes unpacked. As soon as I get some other moving stuff taken care of I'll be able to hang out a bit more. I've been slacking on keeping my friends updated. That'll change in the next couple of days.

T-6 racer, Scott Doctor.

I hope it wasn't suppose to be a "secret" owner.

Hi Canso42, Chunks,

290! My favorite road driving in. I'm looking around for a piece of land somewhere off of that road west of Austin. I should be set in a couple of decades. I would like to see the eastward direction of the road. I'll talk with the girlfriend and see if we can meet up one of these weekends. I'll ask her tonight and send you a PM.

Changing the avatar now :D
