I picked this up at an antique store here in San Antonio, but am not convinced it was taken here...

P-82's in the back ground with a Waco Glider! Interesting pic.

It's conceivable that it could well be Hamilton AFB, CA ...just north of San Francisco. The hills in the distant background look like those to the east of the base. Also, post WWII the 325th FG was based there for ADC purposes and were equipped with F-82's.

You guys know as much about it as I do... I was hoping someone might recognize the background or the hangar.

The presence of P-82's should narrow the field quite a bit.

Hangar 3, EARTH.

Bump on the Waco glider is the experimental radar.

Guesses, both counts.

I'm guessing North America... Earth seems a little TOO broad to me!

With those hills in the background you can never tell Ryan, it might be the secret bunker at Boerne Stage.

I thought the 'hump' on the glider was an experimental refueling probe!

Given the number of unprotected P-82's sitting out in the open, I'm gonna say Dayton.
