This is the place where the majority of the warbird (aircraft that have survived military service) discussions will take place. Specialized forums may be added in the new future

I ended up not being able to make it, because of horses and family. Bad excuse, but the only one I have. On the other hand, I did make it over to Jerome ID to visit John and Nancy Lane. The PV-2 is coming along nicely, so are the Corsairs.
The CAF Wildcat that is in Idaho right now will be on display at the Olympic Flight Museum over in Washington for the next month or so.

No, sorry!

I was concentrating on the warbird fighters and took many pictures of them starting, taking off, flying by and landing. This was my first airshow of the season (because we're remodeling a very old house) so I was soaking up all of the sights and sounds like a starved warbird enthusiast. The Grumman amphibs all stayed static and within the crowd line. The Navions flew but....... those Merlins, Allisons and Pratts kept luring me in their direction. So I walked away very content after my warbird fix but only got pix of the "big iron".
