Dan McCue did a great job, as always, beating up the Red Bull Windsor course last weekend. It is always a pleasure watching Dan and seeing a Corsair doing aerobatics.

Not your average backdrop for warbird pics but it was a interesting change.

Cheers,

Like with Flight of the Intruder, the song Downtown would go great with the pictures.

I have new desk tops for awhile.

Great Pictures

Is It the Corsair who made a emergency water landing off the Florida Cost years ago ?

From AC...........

Watched them rebuild this bird down at American Aero Services in New Smyrna, FL over many years after the dunking, Beautiful workmanship !!

IIRC, the first test flight after resto the gear wouldn't come down and they had to belly her in. Minor damage and obviously back in busuness quickly !

The Collings A36 is in house there now.

The Corsair was at the race thast year as well. It was a really cool change for me to see a NAVY warbird doing it's thing over the water, where it belongs.

That’s right. It flew a Legacy Flight last year as well as an aerobatic routine.

This aircraft is a Korean War Vet. She carries her own colors from VC-3 Essex.

Eric-

Fantastic stuff!! The background DOES make it incredibly different photography, lens a sense of speed to everything over just the prop blur itself.....the headon shot itself is great (anyone on the water have a flashback to 'Always' opening scene?)....keep up the good work..

Mark
