This is the place where the majority of the warbird (aircraft that have survived military service) discussions will take place. Specialized forums may be added in the new future

She is my business partner. We do alot of photography of motorcycles, cars and other stuff.
If anybody would like us to do a photo shoot with some aircraft, or anything else, let us know. We are located in central Illinois.

Is that part of a PBY wing? I noticed the float and please tell me if it is, and where and if it still exists.
If I get a back issue of the December 2003, could you get her to autograph it for me? I can see why she's in PB
My dad lives 10 minutes from JSC, and all the times I've been there to visit him, I've never been to the LSFM. I have to go next time. A B-17 and PBY, P-47, and B-24 in one place is awesome!
I had this crush on a friend of my dad who before going to work for Boeing on the 787 program, she worked as an Engineer at JSC, was nice with the private tours we were given.

LSFM doesn't have a -24, they have a PB4Y-2 though.
I'm prob one of the few people that have been in the PBY-5A, and I can tell you that this airplane will never fly again.

Skymstr 02 is right about the PBY. Corrosion city everywhere. Too many previous owners were clueless about desalting.
Mustang Driver-What kind of pix would you like of the PBY? I got em, though I'm not very good using photobucket.
Viking73-the Hun has stood up to direct hits from the last two hurricanes that came through and is still standing.
Canso42, vol. LSFM, plane captain (wing wiper) PBY-5A.
