It almost looks like a Raiden, but the cowl doesn't look right.

Clark field I am guessing. I see a capture FEAF Buffalo as well!

That is a Buffalo isn't it? I forgot one of those was captured.

Can anyone ID the model/s of P-40s in the picture? And were these model/s present at Clark Field prior to it's fall to the Japanese in early Jan. 1942?

Looks like a Buff to me....At least 9 were captured and evaluated at Tachikawa.

They look like P-40E's

That B-17 or another survived at Tachikawa nearly to the end of the war. It was photographed by a recon aircraft and the photo interpreters identified the aircraft as the Tachikawa 103. They used the manufacturer's name and the aircraft's estimated wingspan to give each newly identified aircraft a temporary ID until more was known.

i'd say it's a buffalo. note the landing gear panel attached to the strut. the raiden / jack didn't become operational till late 1943.

It's not Clark. Almost certainly an airfield somewhere in Japan. That is a Buffalo at the end of the line. A number where captured in Singapore and Java. The B-17D(40-3095 Colin Kelly's original assigned a/c) was captured and rebuilt at Clark and flown to Japan with a B-17E from Java.
2 P-40Es were captured in Mindinao, flown to Nichols and then shipped to Japan as several P-40s from Java. The P-40s were initally used in evaluations and later repainted in U.S. markings of sorts and used in propaganda films.
