I'm not getting any reply notices either, but there is no WIXmail in my spam can.

I haven't a clue as to why no one is getting the notices. I'll see if I can figure it out.

Actually, i kind of like it. I always check WIX so i don't need updates as to when i get a reply, and it doesn't fill up my inbox. Is there a way to turn it off for particular members?

Chris,

check you settings under your profile. There are buttons to turn on and off the notifications.

As far as I know... and as far as I see... there have been no programatic changes to the WIX forum software that could have "broken" per se... that said, there are some reasons why it may not be working...

1) As we are running the older, not-supported phpBB2, there may be something that could have been broken just because our webhost may not support that piece... with a complex program like this one, it could be the case and none of us could be aware of it. I will check on that end as best as I can.

2) There may have been a change in email policy on WebsiteSource (our host) that may be either kicking your emails to spam or the like... one way to check is to open a previous email from the autoreply and note the sender address... copy it if possible. Then after copying, go into the spam rules for your particular email system (Yahoo, Gmail, Hotmail, Outlook... they all do it different) and add that sender address to an approved list.

Considering that I don't traditionally use the auto response program, I haven't been able to test it. Let me see what I can do.

Thanks,
Ryan

I posted to the test and didn't receive a reply. Is it fixed or not?

Hopefully the brains behind this operation will get it working again... I thought it was just me... so happy to see this thread this morning. It's been weeks since I have gotten a PM received notification or a watch topic one. Glad it's being tinkered with! :D

Hope everyone is well!

Paraphrasing Cmdr. Maud's Grandma, "Give 'eh a good bash!" It may not work on electronics...but you'll feel better! :D

Had a nice hour and a half long chat with tech support last night and they are pretty baffled too... standby, we may need to upgrade to phpBB3... which could be good and could be bad at the same time...
