Y 'know, it's really funny, I've never thought about any such thing before .... but I'd never wear a shirt that portrayed an airplane on a pole.

At this point I'm probably not going to produce a front pocket shirt right now due to expenses. But when I do It will look something like this. And the Corsair isn't on a pedestal!

I think that you are on the wright (hahah) track with that last design, although i thought that the first one was a keeper also. Leave the corsair just the way it is, or maybe take it out of there all together and just put an enlarged version of it on the back of the shirt. No explanation or caption, just a big bird back there. If people wanna know what its all about, then they gotta talk to you.Warbirds are cool, and more and more people are realizing this!Beats the crap outta that Ed Hardy garbage anyday. (sorry Ed) The breast pocket and small logo on the front with the large logo on the back really is the way to go, in my opinion. Lose the bird on a stick design. The pole really doesnt work, and the second try at it looks a bit too busy, like there is too much stuff on there. If you do get going on this and come up with some final designs i will buy a couple of shirts to support your cause. Just PM me with the details when you get er' done. Good luck ! Sim.

The last design looks much better, although I don't mind it on the pole previously. Glad you put the art on the back with the pocket version, as you hybrid design really was not working.

I like the first design with the 1943 insignia. Also, the design is better on the front rather than the back. For one, if you wear a jacket, flannel or a jean shirt over it (as I do), no one can see the design; or if one is sitting in a chair or booth, again no one can see the design. I really hated it when Historic Aviation Catalog started putting the big designs on the back rather than the front, so I have stopped buying from them. I found an outfit at an airshow that produces shirts the way I like.

What about the Frank Sinatra hat you are wearing in the photo? Is that part of the package?

Now I feel like a turd for saying I'd never wear a t-shirt that featured a plane with a pole up its @$$. I also feel like I'm being pretty hard to get along with for insisting on the pocket. I'm afraid I must continue being hard to get along with, however, gotta have that pocket. But tell ya what: how 'bout if I buy one if you promise not to send it. Can I do that?

Could be! I have too many Fedora's (well actually I don't think you can ever have enough) but that would be an interesting piece of merchandise. I'd love to start producing these tomorrow but Im afraid that everybody will have to just hang on for a little bit as the initial capital to get started just isn't there right now. As far as your suggestion about the design being on the front, I agree with you 100% as Im one of those fellas that usually has a hoodie, over-shirt, jacket, etc on.

Chris- I was looking into 3x being the largest size I produce but again, Im going to have to count my chickens before I can start Messaging people and setting up an online store.

(I've gotten some great ideas and suggestions from you guys and Ill continue to enhance and refine my products until I see something great. Ill be posting more ideas soon.)

Been a little while, but anyone care to take a whack at this example? I was considering a simpler "less identified" shirt.

Would like to look into the possibility of selling them maybe at the Corsairs over Connecticut show. The idea is to have a more permanent base with a website down the road.

From an old retailer, take the advice of one of the best, Mr Ford. "Any color you like - as long as its black."

You say, "you can have any T-shirt you like as long as it's the one I've made."

You've hard plenty of well meaning but very personal advice.

Choose what you think you should do and just do it. people will either buy the shirt (or not) to support the restoration.

It was in Twister. Ha Ha I like the shirt. I also liked the idea of having the Bu No on it. What about just the Bu on the back?
