What's the story on all the Randolph aircraft being at Alliance?
Fri May 14, 2010 8:19 pm
It wasn't a warbird but it was driven by a Pratt. I was passing through some open flat farmland and spotted a yellow Air Tractor working a field in my diretion of trave.. There was almost no traffic so I slowed way down and watched as his direction of spraying parallelled my direction. I got a good close look and lowered the window to listen the R-985.
Going down to Pt. Lavaca, Tx. tomorrow for a fly-in. LSFM will have a few birds there for rides.
blue skies,

I didn't see any of those. I did see Tallahassee Lassie (with an RV strange formation photo shoot? ) , Val Halla, Impatient virgin, and grumpy.

They come to town every once in a while on training flights and BBQ runs...So do the boys from Sheppard.
Ask Randy about the FBO girls at AFW?

About 11:00 AM, I saw two USAF A-10 Warthogs on final to Addison Airport to attend the event at Cavanaugh Flight Museum this weekend. The second 'hog driver's call sign was "Swine 6-4" (heard it on the radio). Very appropriate!
Also landing at KADS a few minutes after the 'hogs was a sweeeeeeeet round-engined Cessna, either a 190 or 195.
About 2:30 PM, an AT-6 flew over my house. It looked like Cavanaugh's. I'm on their normal Flight Experience route.

Thanks. Just kinda unusual to see that many aircraft at one non-military base at the same time.

Don't need to ask. Have personal experience on that one.

Five minutes ago a nice big white P-3 Orion with a flat round black radome under the forward fuselage just flew low over Yucca Valley heading east - was it at Chino?

Saw a C-130 fuselage being trailered down the highway. It was complete from nose cone to tailcone.
