awesome,glad to see they got it up.....sad to say that the collectors couldn't find a knowledgeable rigger for the crane lifting........haste makes waste, but glad to see they pulled it out of the drink..

Yes, all in all a nice bit of work. I'd rather have it on shore with a broken tail than underwater and intact.

The whole thing will be broken eventually, it was raised for parts to help rebuild the G-2 already under restoration. The structure of Gelbe 3 is not strong enough to restore ''as is". Hopefully the Norwegian lakes will turn up a pristine example soon....

That's looks to be pretty complete for a parts source. Or would that be an incorrect assumption?
