Had forgotten that I even had these. Was scanning in some old pictures last night and came across a couple gems. Here is a sample and if I have time I'll put up a couple more tonight.

I need to upload some more to my host site later. 909 is at Bradley Field. Thats the only place I saw her before the accident. The museum pics are early 80's and the rest of the shots I found are from there.

909 has certainly had her same colors for quite some time...especially when compared to All American/The Dragon and It's Tail/Witchcraft. Is there a reason why 909 has retained her colors for so long in comparison to the B-24?
Just wondering...

We try to change the B-24 every so often since the CF B-24 is really the only one of its type and we try to honor the various branches that used the plane... started with the 15th AF, then to 5th AF, and now 8th AF with "Witchcraft". B-17's have kept their livery more because there are just plain more of them out there... and so many people just love the "Nine-o-Nine" and I am afraid of a riot if we changed it!
Remember that Fuddy Duddy, Sentimental Journey, and Texas Raiders have had more or less the same paint since they were first restored as well, so it isn't as strange as it may seem.

So when will the B-24 be put in Navy Colors?

Did the ill-fated Bushmaster ever fly in natural metal finish? It sure looks like Greg Herrick's N7501V, but without seeing any identifying markings, it's awfull hard to twll which one it is.

Dan, N750RW was in a goldish with black-trim color scheme and uncowled
at the time of her crash.

Quite right airnutz, I was wondering if N750RW ever flew in natural metal. I have edited my original post to hopefully improve it's clarity.

A quick, two more before bed. I am uploading and writing this at the same time so if you don't see a picture just hang on a couple minutes. I need to change a few things so I am reloading the pics from the first post as well.

A repeat of what? It's late, I'm tired and I have to be up at 4am to get to work. Perhaps I was not clear in my earlier post. The rest of the pictures I found were taken at Owls Head. When I have more time to mess with them I'll post them if anyone really cares. I've been fixing up the color in them as they are old pictures and trying to make them look halfway decent. I put up the pic of the Tin Goose because it is a different angle from the first pic, which seems to have generated some interest. The Jenny is simply the next pic I fixed. I have also been going through family photos and car stuff which I'm not going to get into here. I just thought people might like to see a couple gems I found along the way.

Dan,
N750RW flew out here on the west coast also, when it was first built in the metal finish during 1985. In 1986 I photographed it here wearing a Beige and Red trimmed scheme. The gold and black trimmed scheme was of course the last paint scheme on the plane.

Hey Al, thanks for sharing, I always enjoy shots of tri-motors, especially the Bushmaster, N7501V is based about 25 miles from me. I'd lovr to see more when you have time, especially if you happen to run across more of the Bushmaster
Does anyone know if both Bushmasters carried the same markings for a while? In my earliest shots of N7501V you can quite clearly see where the Ford and PAA logos have been obliterated.
Sorry if I've hijacked your thread Al, I'm just curious which ship the Bushmaster is.

Sorry Al

, as you said it was late, I was tired and I missed the discaimer at the end of your picture post. As always, nice work!
