332nd FG P-51D of Lt. Earl R. Lane

Sat Jun 12, 2010 6:03 pm

Hi guys, I have a photo that shows his '51, but the port wing partly obscures the nose art. Am I right in thinking it's, ''DEARLY BELOVED''?

I'd also like to know if there are any references or info regarding a P-51D of the 301st Sq called, ''Miss Judy''?

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Here's a link to a pic and caption of Benjamin O. Davis with a P-51 "Miss Judy".

Thanks, Dan. Yep, they're the images I've seen that sparked my interest.

Is that first ship, 'DEARLY BELOVED'?
