This American Beauty?

It's not the top one. That one is still at the Olympic Flight Museum in Washington. It will be giving about 40 or so rides this next week and during the airshow.

I think the subject of this thread is Ross Grady's old plane.

Is Ross Grady still with us ? I haven't seen him since Midland the last year he owned him Mustang....

Love seeing Mustangs in 361st colors. Would have been super to see them get the starboard side name correct though. As long as it's been since I got that info out I would think they would have found it with some basic research. I guess they used Robert Taylors old painting 'Home Run' for reference.

Really? Which 31st FG was in the Horsemen routine this weekend? They were roped off and parked with the port side away, so I couldn't tell which one it was. I just assumed it was American Beauty, since I "thought" it was the only 31st FG one in the area.

You ought to send a note to the owner Craig. He took enough trouble getting most of this paint scheme right, maybe he'd correct the name if it were brought to his attention. It seems like the type of thing that could be done without a lot of repainting.

No, February and American Beauty (formerly) are the 31st FG, 15th AF. Bald Eagle and Lou IV are 361st FG, 8th AF.
