So I was looking at the FB page of a photorgrapher that does a lot of interesting night photogrphaer in abandoned buildings, classic car junkyards, and airplane boneyards who I would highly recomend ( http://www.lostamerica.com ). He had a linked to his Photostream page where he had aseveral pics of a B25 in a secret desert boneyard along with a shot of severl B29 engine Nacelles. According to his writeup there are 2 complete B29's worth of parts and several 25's that theroectially ould be put back to gethers.

Have I been in a closet or is this a well kept secret.

Here is the link to the pics in question

I don't think it's a secret at all. Looks like Aero Trader's storage lot to me.
That's where most of Kermit Weeks' B-29 Fertile Myrtle is.

Finally, an interior shot of 44-29812! Looks like it's been untouched since the '50s when it was surplused and put on display at the Paul Bunyan park.

Carl & Tony will be most upset of anyone thinks their stash is abandoned...

If you read the captions on a couple of hte pics no worries about that. Looks like the photographer got caught and was respecting the wishes of the caretaker when after a few years the "owner" became a fan and the two connected under better circumstnances.

I would really recomend going through the main web page= lots of great stuff from old military bases and boneyards as well as some interesting americana.

As he should seeing that it is posted! If more people would shoot criminals when they commit their crime, tresspassers included, the country would be better off.

Not in the slightest. If you are standing somewhere that is posted as no tresspassing and you know you are not supposed to be there, then the property owner should put two in your chest and one in your head. Same thing if you are robbing a Wa wa store.

If you have to climb the fence to get in a place then there is about a 100% chance you knew you were not supposed to be there. It was not a mistake. Same thing if you rob a convienience store. You did not do it by mistake.

that's moronic. You're suggesting a death penalty for tresspassing.

Well, I won't go into whether or not you should shoot someone, but I will tell this story. When I worked on the medical helos in Pittsburgh, there was a crew of two guys that sat at the far left of our com center to dispatch ambulances in the city and suburbs. One night a man called and said that two guys had broken into his neighbors house and were loading a van. They told him police where about 5 min away. They made him stay on the line. He then stated that they had broken his fence and where now breaking into his shed. The Dispatcher said police is still a few min out. He said very calmly, "OK", and then you could hear a clicking noise, then a loud BOOM! on the line. Then another BOOM. He came back on the line and said, go ahead and send an ambulance too. I got one of them. The other guy was found like a block away in an alley. Till this day we all still can remeber that shocked look on our dispatchers face!

Why is that moronic? It is against the law to tresspass. I believe it is legal to shoot people for tresspassing already in Texas and New Mexico as well as a few more states. Assuming the land is properly posted.

If you guys want to debate trespassing law, go somewhere else. This is a warbirds forum. Let's keep it that way.
