Hi Chad, I have that book. What is the squadron number of Do It? Awesome job on the nose art!

Page 41 has a color plate of a C-47 from the 319th TCS(C) 1st ACG.
Shows 5 diagonal white stripes across the fuselage near the cargo door..
Here are some B&W pics I found online of the markings (scroll down for pics)

Chris,
Never heard back from you on the items for the gift shop ... Here are a couple of mugs .... I also came up with an embroidered B-17 hat but not sure if your interested in anything. If not, no hard feeling ...
Both of these are using Chad's great art work ..

These of course are not for sale by me

Chris, Here's a lightweight Poly Travel Mug that can also take the designs ... this one has pictures of various warbirds that are on display at the NMUSAF that I have sold on Ebay.

I'll be back out at the Museum on Saturday. The official dedication though is Friday.
Out of curiosity, how many other 1st Air Commando aircraft are represented beyond Barbie III, Miss Virgina, and now Do It? Those are the only ones that I can think of.

I took Friday morning off work and will be out there.
Django, if you're already coming down this far don't forget the Indy airshow is this weekend too.

Wish I could Greg. We had a great time last year, but it's only a day trip this time.

Looks like the only one at Hurlburt Field is a B-25.
http://www.planepictures.net/netshow.php?id=284560So 4 aircraft.

Chad, you are right. I was there a few years ago, and remembered the B-25, but I guess that is it. I think the Skyradier may have had stripes at the time, but was repainted.
