If I had to guess, I would say it's John Paul's P-40E after doing some movie work!! It looks like John walking in front of the aeroplane!!!

AK905. I've never seen a photo of it from the time period between the time of its ownership by Bob Warden and Don Plumb. I rather like the refreshing lack of sharks teeth, which like on AK940, was short lived.

The paintjob of AVG #47 that Mr. Plumb had applied has held out quite well, I have to say.

I am assuming this, as the sign for Salem gave me the impression that it was in Salem Oregon. This aircraft was based in Oregon during the time in question.
