So I did a cross-country with a student on Saturday. One of our stops was a touch and go in Georgetown, TX. They were having a Young Eagles weekend, and it was good to see Devil Dog out on the ramp with folks looking at her.

Not the best photos, but shot through the windows of a 1970s Skyhawk, so oh well.

Oh, and pray for rain in Texas. Wildfires all over. Crops dying, animals starving, and houses being burned...

Sheesh - I must be getting old. Saw the pics before I read your post - was thinking "boy, that looks familiar...".

Then the realization that it was Georgetown :shock: I live about 1/2 mile from the GTU terminal... :roll:

Figure I must need more caffeine!! :toimonster:


Great pics - amazing how the burn pattern on the last pic spared the one while burning the rest. We had some much needed rain this past weekend, but need way, way more to make things right again.
