Diving the USS Saratoga CV-3 video

Nice to see someone dived on the Saratoga at Bikini Atoll. Too bad she was never saved. 
One of the great pre war carriers. From F3F Littlecats to Hellcats. I could think of a better fate for her then for atomic testing. In the video shows a plane with bomb bay doors open and with bombs still inside! Is it a Helldiver? It looks remarkably in good shape.
Maybe dreaming here...but wished there was a way to get some of thes grand ships back up out of the water. Just imagine all the mighty ships from ww2 that are still out there.
They are not gone many of them are still around. Just under water.

Two ships from WW2 that still should be around today in my opinion are the USS Enterprise CV-6 and the USS Nevada BB-36.

Another great ship from WWII is the the German cruiser Prinz Eugen which was another "test item" from the Bikini Atoll in 1946. BTW, the ship still contains at least one Arado 196 floatplane. It is now located at the Kwajalein Atoll which is roughly 300 miles SE of Bikini.
